Kickstart your career in swim teaching with the Swim Australia Teacher (SAT) Course—Australia’s leading certification for learn-to-swim instructors. Designed for aspiring swim teachers, this course equips you with the skills and knowledge to deliver safe, engaging, and effective swimming lessons to learners of all ages.
​
This entry-level course, the  SWIM Australia™ Teacher (SAT), has the competence and knowledge to teach swimming and water safety to independent learners from ages 2.5 years upward, emphasising safety, fun, and skill development. It provides the skills and knowledge required to assist individuals in gaining the competencies required to deliver water-related personal safety and survival lessons.
Upon completing all the course requirements, candidates will be accredited with the SWIM Australia™ Teacher license, valid for three years.

Swim Australia Teacher of Babies and Toddlers Course

This course is designed for swim teachers looking to specialise in teaching infants and young children up to four years old. With a focus on parent-and-child engagement, you’ll learn how to build water confidence and foundational swimming skills in young learners.

The Swim Australia™ Teacher of Babies and Toddlers (SAT B&T) course is designed to equip instructors with the skills to foster water confidence in young children through engaging and safe aquatic activities. This program is ideal for those aiming to teach infants and toddlers, focusing on creating enjoyable learning experiences that promote early water safety and familiarity.
